This project is a first for us - in the plains as well as the style of architecture the client preferred. Given a narrow site, and maximum requirements, not much could be done in terms of providing interaction in terms of built vs. open. Although aesthetics was more challenging than the actual planning, the house is designed with keeping the comfort levels of the occupants in mind. The West facade although road facing has been starved of windows and given ventilators to facilitate cross ventilation and minimize direct heat into the house. Also, it has been proposed to the client to use reflective paint to aid in keeping the house cool.

A different challenge, but a foray into this market is all the more exciting. Let us know what you think :)
